Profile of the series

SLLD-B publishes original scientific monographs, in particular dissertations, postdoctoral theses, research reports, scientific conference proceedings, anthologies and commemorative publications. These either directly focus on a genuinely German didactic topic of language and/or literary learning, or they explore subject-specific relationships with topics from related and neighbouring disciplines. All publications at SLLD-B are subject to the double blind peer review process. One innovative feature is the possibility of making empirical research data available in digital form. Thanks to the exclusive cooperation with the Schneider Verlag Hohengehren, a printed publication ("print on demand") is normally possible. To promote individual international availability, all publications are preceded by an English abstract of at least ten pages, unless the volume has already been published in English. The series will appear at irregular intervals depending on the number of works submitted.
